Grand Rapids - A Communication Breakthrough for Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder - Featuring Soma Mukhopadhyay. May 6-8 2009 Dominican Center at Marywood, Grand Rapids, Michigan. In addition to a two hour lecture on the Rapid Prompting Method on the evening of May 6 Soma will work 1:1 with 16 students & adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder over 3 days. Particpants may watch via live video feed.

2009 Autism Walk & Festival
This event presents an occasion for families, educators, students, the medical, business & non-profit communities, as well as the general public to come together to celebrate the lives of children with autism. The purpose of this Walk is to show appreciation of our communitys many Autism Angels, to increase community awareness of autism, & to raise money toward the ASGGCs Adult Residential Project. All monies raised from this event will go toward the development of a farm-based residential community to provide for the care that will be necessary when many of these children reach adulthood.Sponsors, Volunteers, Teams needed!
